DEKRA Korea Successfully Hosts ‘International Explosion Protection Seminar’ in Celebration of Its 100th Anniversary
Attended by around 50 participants from 30 domestic explosion-proof equipment manufacturers
To commemorate the 100th anniversary of its founding, DEKRA, successfully held the ‘International Explosion Protection Seminar’ on April 24, 2025, at DEKRA Korea’s headquarters, inviting key domestic explosion-proof equipment manufacturers.
The seminar was attended by approximately 50 professionals and technical managers from 30 Korean companies. It featured in-depth presentations and active discussions on global explosion protection certification trends, the latest technologies, and testing methods.
In particular, participants showed great interest in DEKRA’s global one-stop testing and certification services for explosion protection, including insights into the IECEx and ATEX certification systems and their integration with the DEKRA global network.
A representative from DEKRA Korea’s explosion protection team commented "It was an honor to celebrate DEKRA’s 100th anniversary alongside major Korean explosion-proof manufacturers.
